We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: ICU Registered Nurse in Overland Park, KS.

Requirements

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required Skills: Medical Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Post Neurosurgery management, Traumatic Brain injury, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management
