Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) - 240352 New

We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care in a workplace setting. This role focuses on emergency care, first aid, and the treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within established standing orders.

Location: Kansas City, KS

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays

**Two shift options are available based on your preference:

Day Shift:

• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Night Shift:

• Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (into Sunday)
• Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (into Monday)

Role Overview:

• Provide professional nursing care for sick and injured employees.
• Perform and evaluate clinical and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Assist the plant physician with minor surgical procedures.
• Conduct and document employee medical history interviews.
• Collaborate with the Health Services team and other departments to support workplace health initiatives.
• Maintain and update medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform and document physical examinations.
• Adhere to established health and safety protocols.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Support and promote workplace wellness programs.
• Deliver professional and knowledgeable customer service to employees.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid state nursing license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in one or more of the following areas: Med-Surg, Occupational Health, Primary Care, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine (ER), Urgent Care, or related acute care settings.
• Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certification
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer software
